Our market leading position today is the result of many years of very careful planning, organization and our relentless dedication to deliver top quality products, services and solutions, which then resulted in the superior client and customer satisfaction, that Sunlit is well-known today.
Our strong management, a professional support team, a network of supporting business associates, our sincerity in conducting business, and our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, have collectively made Sunlit one of the market leaders, as well as the solutions provider of choice in our business segment.
A quarter of century ago, Sunlit was mainly involved in producing advertising signage. Today, our core business is mainly in providing comprehensive, all-inclusive marketing and advertising solutions and in event management.
We are behind all the big expos Brunei that include the International Halal Products Expo, Technology Expo, Home and Lifestyle Expo, Health Expo, Agriculture Expo and of course the ever popular Consumer Fair.
Moreover, last year, we successfully held our first expo outside Brunei which is the BIMP-EAGA Consumer Fair and Trade Expo in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Last March this year, another BIMP-EAGA Expo was held in Kota Kinabalu.
HISTORY
Sunlit Advertising Sdn Bhd today, with the strong support of our clients and customers, is almost a household name in Brunei Darussalam. We have truly come a long way since our modest beginnings in 1985, when our Managing Director, Mr Jackson Ting purchased Benley Advertising located at Bangunan Goodwood, Gadong.
Sensing the need to breathe ‘life’ into the company, he renamed it Sunlit Advertising Sdn Bhd because, basically, life starts from just one source – the Sun.
Soon, however, the desire to provide the best products and services possible, led the early Sunlit team to relocate our corporate headquarters to the BRC Flats in Jalan Gadong. The team that once comprised of just two workers, from that point onwards grew dramatically into an over 200 strong staff list.
At the turn of 1993, as our reputation for excellence in quality timely deliveries and efficiency grew; our company again felt the need to further expand. Mr Ting decided to move to a bigger and better headquarters located at Lot 42, Beribi Light Industrial Estate.
However, that location was once again, soon found wanting as well. Therefore, on 23rd September 2005, we moved to our present headquarters at Lot 71, Beribi Light Industrial Estate, Phase II, Gadong, BE 1118.
This move is a significant milestone for Sunlit because it is symbolic of the culmination of Mr Ting’s dream for a Sunlit that is fully capable of truly delivering the excellence in a comprehensive range of products and services that we can all be very proud of.
Today, Sunlit, under the able guidance of Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman Pengiran Haji Damit, our Chairman, and Dato Danial Bin Haji Hanafiah, our Executive Director, Sunlit is now undeniably the leading advertising and event management company in Brunei.
